Why Drive for TTE?

Qualifications and Considerations

All TTE drivers must meet the following criteria:

  • At least 23 years of age
  • Class A Commercial Driver’s License, with at least an X endorsement
  • One year tractor/trailer driving experience required
  • Acceptable driving record during past three years
  • Pass D.O.T. and company drug/alcohol screen and physical examination
  • Satisfactorily complete company-prescribed road test

Please Note: TTE regularly engages in interstate commerce. Accordingly, those hired must satisfy the United States Department of Transportation’s specifications, and may be called upon to drive across state lines. No driver is guaranteed a route, and all may be called upon to drive intrastate or interstate routes as determined by the needs of the company. In addition, each driver may be subject to temporary transfer to other terminal locations as needs arise.
